  • 1 ripe pear – Bartlett or Comice.

Put one cup of water into a saute pan, and bring to a boil. Add the brussel sprouts.

  • Remove the brussel sprouts, and put into an ice bath.  Drain the brussel sprouts.  Dry the pan
