No matter where we’ve lived, somehow we find one of those little holes-in-the-wall restaurant with simple but great food, or an ethnic restaurant in some out-of-the-way strip mall that beats out some of the high-end places.  Best of all, we get to meet the owners and the chefs, and we often are the last people in the restaurant.  We’ll be highlighting some of our favorites in New Jersey and Florida, and we’re hoping that you will also share some of your experiences.  We find that getting to know the people who run the restaurants has many benefits.
