West African Spice Blend
Back by popular demand! Our original recipe West African Spice blend brings together some fun ingredients that are usually not found on anyone’s spice shelf. Our inspiration for this product comes from the cooking of Nigeria, Senegal, and Cameroon where spice blends are used during cooking, then also added at the table as a seasoning salt. We combine the African Grains of Paradise in a lemon/pepper blend that is great on meat, fish, poultry, or veggies. As with all our products, the West African Spice blend is gluten-free, vegetarian, all natural non-GMO ingredients, and contains no preservatives.
This spice blend defines one of West Africa’s most wildly popular street foods – the suya meat skewer - as well as the basic spice blend for stews and veggies. It’s easy to use – simply add it during cooking, then have it on the table to use as seasoning salt. It's great as a rub on chicken wings or your favorite grilled meats and veggie skewers. Mix into marinades, sauces and dressings or sprinkle on veggies, rice, noodles and more.
