Filipino Grill Rub


We explore the world to bring regional international flavors to your kitchen.  With our Filipino Grill Rub, we bring a spice blend full of fragrant sweet spices, lots of citrus, and a bit of heat.  This simple-to-use rub is ideal as a dry rub marinade for pork, chicken, or fish – or use as a seasoning salt, or as the flavor base of a curry. Inspired by our exploration of regional Southeast Asian cuisines.



The most common use for this spice combination in Filipino cooking is dry rub marinating pork – and it is also excellent for chicken, beef, lamb, or fish.  Add 2-3 tablespoons of this rub to a can of coconut milk to produce a quick, elegant curry base.

Ingredients:  Orange Zest, Lemon Zest, Lime Zest, Lemongrass, Ginger, Garlic, Paprika, Coriander, Cumin, Brown Mustard, Fennel, Bird Chili Powder, Sugar, Sea Salt
